Hundertwasser

Here you will find photo's from a creative project I did in my 3rd year at Kleine Tiki, inspired by the artist Hundertwasser. I designed a building in Hundertwasser's style, divided it into 10 colour layers and stencilled 10 different pictures. In the first picture I used colours that seemed the most natural to me. For the next 4 pictures I assigned a random colour to each layer (there were 14 colours in all, 10 of which were used in each picture). After that I 'improved' those random combinations of colours. The funny thing was: instead of improving, the results were actually duller. It's good to realise my thinking doesn't necessarily help to make beautiful things. This series also clearly shows the effect of colour. Even though the design is exactly the same for each picture, they each have a very different atmosphere all because of their colours
